Protein is extremely important when it comes to growth, especially in young growing bodies. Protein is required for building connective tissue, cell membranes and muscle cells; it helps maintain healthy eyes and vision, and also plays an important role in helping to maintain a healthy immune system. Without enough protein, growth is impossible, so if you aren’t getting enough from your diet, consider adding more. Your popsicle trays don't have to be used to make your children tasty treats.... how about making some high-protein popsicles instead!
High-Protein Choc Popsicles
Ingredients:
1 scoop BP WPI Chocolate
4 egg whites
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon raw cacoa
1 tablespoon almond butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Blend in a high speed blender.
Pour into popsicle moulds. Add more water if needed before pouring.
Freeze.
