We often start our mornings with a nice hot coffee, but there is definitely some room for innovation in this area. Especially when it comes to combining coffee with a protein hit for a smashing pre-workout hit!
Coffee contains caffeine which is the main ingredient that perks you up in the morning (or afternoon for that matter). Caffeine stimulates the CNS (central nervous system) and your metabolism. It's used both recreationally and medically to commonly reduce physical fatigue and to increase alertness when you're feeling a little tired. There are many benefits to caffeine and some negatives, but if enjoyed in moderation you can't really go wrong.

So as long as you're not overdoing it, Caffeine can be very beneficial to your health and helpful for those early morning workouts when you need a pre-workout pick me up.

Ingredients:
1 scoop BP WPC Chocolate
1/2 scoop BP MPC Chocolate
300mls water
1 teaspoon almond butter
1 shot of espresso coffee
