Are you nuts for Protein Pancakes?



What tastes great and are a rich source of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and an excellent source of those hard to find omega-3 fatty acids? Walnuts.

Walnuts are quality high-nutrient food. 100 grams of walnuts contains 15.2 grams of protein, 65.2 grams of fat and 6.7 grams of dietary fiber. The protein in walnuts provides many essential amino acids which we all know are especially helpful for maintaining muscle mass.

Like most nuts, you can add walnuts easily to almost any meal. Try adding them to your favourite salad, vegetable dish, fruit salad or even your protein pancakes. In fact, we have a great recipe for protein pancakes for you to add them to right now!

Banana and Walnut Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:
2 whole eggs
1 scoop BP Superfine Oats
1 scoop BP Whey Protein Isolate
1/2 banana
1/4 cup walnuts
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Blend in a high speed blender/processor.
Pour into a pan.
Lightly fry on one side for a few minutes.
Flip and cook other side.
Top with more banana + walnuts as desired.
