Peanut and Christmas Protein Pow Pancakes

There's nothing better than a late christmas pressie - and we've got one just for you ; Sure, you could argue that a ‘Christmassy’ stack of protein pow pancakes could be a year-round thing. And you’d be right – especially when you're still on Christmas holidays! But this time of the year, these spices become doubly sublime, particularly enjoyed alongside a big cup of coffee! You may be wondering, how can pancakes be ‘Christmas’ flavoured? Well, let me tell you how: by being rich in spices, sweet and fluffy, and full of cheer!
Ingredients
1 tbsp peanut flour
1 large egg
¼ cup rolled oats
¼ cup of Bulk Powders vanilla whey protein powder
1-2 tbsp of ground almonds (depending on how ‘almondly’ you like your pancakes)
1 tbsp of cottage cheese
¼ cup of almond milk
1 tbsp ‘Christmas spices’ (e.g. ground ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg)
Directions
1. Blend all ingredients together.
2. Add some coconut oil or low-calorie spray to a nonstick pan and get it to hot.
3. Once the pan is sizzling hot, add your pancake batter and turn it down to medium.
4. Flip the pancakes when bubbles begin to appear on their surface and/or they’ve cooked through at the bottom.
5. Serve with your syrup, nut butter, and/or fruit of choice!
