"Just finished up a massive leg workout two days post Arnold Classic Australia. No better way to finish a workout then a couple of scoops of whey protein isolate fourty to fifty grams of refined oats as well as fifteen grams of colostrum. Colostrum is a really good to work at. Helps to boost your IGF levels in your body. Which is awesome for recovery.

Man, what a weekend it was. It was super exciting. I end up finishing first in the open heavy weight division in the Arnold Classic Australia. Man, it was crazy. I set out a goal in 2015 after I jumped off the Arnold Classic Stage to come back and give it my all. I said it socially, verbalized it on Facebook that I am going to come back next year. I am going to take this title and that is exactly what I did. I dedicated my whole entire year to it. I really happy with the result.

Entering Melbourne Championships to Arnold Classic Australia, the changes I decided to make was to not deplete as hard for a couple of days coming into the show. Putting in a little extra carbohydrates and, hopefully, bring that same condition but be a little bit fuller. That was the goal.

Last minute, I ended up depleting for a couple of days. With the Melbourne Championships, I did my whole entire carb load on white rice. I felt a little bit blocked up having the white rice. So I decided this show, no one does this, I thought I would try it ... just for a one off, I am kind of all or nothing person. I have to learn my own, it doesn't matter what people tell me, I always have to learn things my way. I did my entire prep on brown rice and dry oats. That was awesome. I started off really, really good. I was consistently going to toilet which was fantastic. Which is what I wanted to make sure that was going to happen in between the Melbourne Championships and Arnold which didn't happen with the Melbourne Championships.

As I slowly started depleting the water from my body, the dry oats and the amount of fibre in the dry oats, and the fibre from the brown rice really massively started blocking up my colon. I found that coming into the Arnold Classic doing the deplete for a couple days less and putting in too much carbohydrates I feel like my condition wasn't as good as it could have been. I felt like I washed out a little bit. I really, really pushed to bring that full massive package and I feel like I got a little bit too full and over loaded my body and started washing out as my body got a bit fluidy.

I am going to come back next year. I want to do next years and utilise the principle I did for both those shows. I am going to stick to what I know works the best. I am going stick to plain white rice. I won't go and do anything crazy, fibre or oats or anything like that. I am going to stick to my plain white rice. I am going to put a little bit of veggies into each meal to make sure my body is consistently going to the toilet. As well as one or two, I add two or three hundred milligrams of magnesium citrate to just release my colon as well. This is so I can keep my body going to the toilet.

Overall, it was an awesome event. Placing first in a prestigious international, the first ever international Australian Open opportunity in the whole entire world was awesome. It was a massive, massive achievement. The guys that came from Kuwait, there were guys who came from Sweden, there were guys who came from all around the world to compete. I got to compete in the overall which is a pro qualifier. I don't know where I placed as of yet but I was in all the first callouts right in the middle next to the guy who won from Kuwait, which was really cool. We got to go down the audience and do posing in the audience with thousands, and thousands of people watching. It was such a motivation, inspiration event.

I planned post Arnold Classic to do a really nice rebound and not blow up and get too fluidy and that kind of stuff. It kind of lasted a good four hours. Then I got over the rebound food and I thought you know what let's go and have a parmy or something. Man, when I got a taste of that parmy, when I got a taste of that burger I just couldn't stop. I thought to myself, you know what I am just going to eat and enjoy myself. In a few days of eating out, rebound, and just deal with it when it comes to it and do the best I do. I had everything from parmys, to pies, to pizzas, to burgers. Yeah, we are still going. We are doing a lot of Rococo which is my favourite restaurant, in Acland Street in St.Kilda. Doing a lot of breakfast there and dinners there. It has been a really fun time. I am riding on cloud nine. I won the Arnold Classic so I couldn't be more grateful than that.

My goal for this year, it doesn't matter what anyone says, I am going to come back next year, Arnold Classic 2017 and I am going to win my pro card. It is going to happen this year. I said it last year and everyone talked about it. I came back and I hit my goal. This year it is going to happen. Last year my training for this years Arnold Classic was to bring up my proportions, make sure my hamstrings matched my quads. Looking at my photos from my 2015 Arnold Classic to my 2016 Arnold Classic my hamstrings were way off compared to my quad sweep. My glutes were way to dominate, things like my arms are way out proportion as compared to my shoulders, and my posing wasn't as great too. I really, really worked hard this year to bring up that overall proportionate package, and that is where I got marked on. That is what increased my score card up. The judges said that I had a really, really well balanced body and a really nice physique which is exactly what I wanted to achieve this year.

Now in between this year and next year I think what the one thing that's holding me back from getting my pro card and taking my body to the next level is my overall size. I just think I need to stack on another five or ten kilo of muscle. This year it's going to be a massive year for me. I am going to put on a lot of weight and probably a lot of body fat as well. To put on a massive amount of muscle that year and put a little bit of fat as well and get over that. It is going to be a shirt season anyways, who cares Im cool with wearing a shirt.

But this year is a lot of massive compound movements, I am going to do a lot of heavy squats, a lot of heavy dead-lifts, a lot of heavy pressing. I am going to make sure I get my treatment done twice a week with flu season and mild therapy just across the see next door. I am going to get a lot of treatment done through her twice a week with Felicity from Northern Myotherapy who works out of Brunswick Dohertys here next door, I’m gonna get a lot of treatment done by her, twice a week. My last year, what I did was after the 2015 Arnold Classic, I didn't get enough treatment done and my body got a little bit out of whack and my body started getting injured. This year I want to make sure I am on top of that. It is going to be awesome so. I can guarantee next year I will bring the freak factor look back. My quads are going to be massive, my back is going to be thick, everything is going to working really hard. I am super excited to get on that. I am super excited to put on some massive weight.

Also, coming into the last six weeks of the Arnold Classic, I took off work. I stopped working with my clients and my job the last six weeks. I just dedicated my entire six weeks to my last six weeks to myself, to my prep, and that was it.

I booked in my entire weekly regimen in from Monday to Sunday. Everything is formatted, everything is systematic now, nothing is going to be out of place. We got organisation throughout the entire week. There are days for Chloe, there are days for Julia, there are days for family, there are days for work, there are days for gym, there are days for training. It's going to be really, really well planned out year. Organisation is on top. I am living here in Melbourne. Life is beautiful. I am really, really excited for this year. It is going to be a huge year for me, for Bulk Powders, for you guys. I am going to hit my goals and come back in 2017 and I am going to go pro.

I want to say a massive thank you for all you guys in supporting my 10 week journey to the Arnold Classic Australia. You guys have all had an awesome response. I am really happy with the outcome.
